Terms and Conditions
These terms govern the use of the Airdrie Maker Lab website, registration forms, parent portal, camp pages, events, and learning services.
1. Acceptance of terms
By using this website, submitting a form, registering for a program, joining a waitlist, or accessing the parent portal, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Services
Airdrie Maker Lab offers educational maker programs, camps, workshops, family events, progress updates, and related learning resources. Program availability, schedules, pricing, and content may change from time to time.
3. Registration and account information
Parents or guardians must provide accurate information during registration. You are responsible for ensuring that contact details, emergency contacts, medical or support notes, and child information are kept current.
4. Parent responsibility
Parents or guardians are responsible for providing complete and truthful information about the child, including allergies, support needs, safety considerations, and pickup arrangements where applicable.
5. Payments, pricing, and refunds
Program fees, camp fees, deposits, and other charges will be shown at the point of registration or payment. Refund, cancellation, transfer, and credit decisions may depend on the timing of the request, the nature of the program, and administrative or material commitments already made.
6. Schedule changes and cancellations
Airdrie Maker Lab may change instructors, content, dates, formats, or locations when reasonably necessary. Programs or events may also be postponed or cancelled due to low enrollment, operational issues, health and safety reasons, or circumstances outside our control.
7. Conduct and safety
We expect respectful conduct from participants, parents, and visitors. We may suspend or remove a participant where behavior creates safety concerns, serious disruption, damage to equipment, or repeated disregard for staff instructions.
8. Maker equipment and materials
Participants may use tools, equipment, electronics, craft materials, digital tools, and fabrication resources under supervision appropriate to the program. Use of such equipment must follow staff direction and safety rules.
9. Photos, videos, and media
Airdrie Maker Lab may capture photos or videos of programs and events for operational, educational, or promotional use, unless a parent or guardian has clearly requested otherwise in writing or through the registration process.
10. Intellectual property
Website content, branding, logos, graphics, curriculum materials, program structures, and original content belong to Airdrie Maker Lab or its licensors unless stated otherwise. Personal projects created by children remain their own work, subject to normal educational display and documentation use within the program.
11. Portal and website use
You agree not to misuse the site, portal, or forms. This includes attempts to gain unauthorized access, disrupt service, upload harmful files, submit fraudulent registrations, or use the website for spam or abusive conduct.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Airdrie Maker Lab is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from website use, program scheduling changes, or service interruptions. Nothing in these terms limits liability where such limitation is not permitted by law.
